This code is case sensitive.
To create an Iris login, just click "Sign-up". It only takes a few moments to create your username and password before starting the registration form. Here is a step-by-step guide to setting up an Iris account.
If you do not remember your Iris password, please follow the directions for password recovery on this link.
Families will have 15 minutes to complete their registration form. After 15 minutes any items in their cart will be placed back in the general pool of tickets. There will be a countdown timer on the screen so you can see how much time you have left to complete the form.
Orders must be received by Friday, September 21, 2018 for consideration. Most Parents & Family Weekend event tickets sell out because we obtain a limited number of tickets for each event. Registering for Parents & Family Weekend before the deadline does not guarantee that tickets will be available, due to high demand.
You will receive an email acknowledging your online registration within 48 hours. An official detailed confirmation of your ticket purchases will follow via email. Please print the electronic confirmation page for your records. If you do not receive an official confirmation within 5 business days, please email email@example.com. Please indicate you are registering for Parents & Family Weekend in all correspondence.
For security and logistical reasons, tickets purchased through the Parents & Family Weekend registration form will not be sent through the mail. Tickets must be picked up at Parents & Family Weekend Check-In in the Vandenberg Room, Michigan League, 911 N. University Ave. on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
We strongly recommend that you check-in for Parents & Family Weekend on Friday so you can participate in as many activities and events as possible. The majority of the free events take place on Friday. If you can’t come to check-in, your student may check in for you and can pick up your tickets by presenting their student ID.
In the event of an emergency, if you or your student are unable to pick up your tickets on Friday, you may pick up your tickets at the Pre-Game Tailgate on Saturday, November 3 at the Indoor Track Building three hours prior to kickoff. Any unclaimed football tickets will be taken to the Athletic Department’s Will Call Window, located at the Crisler Center, ninety minutes prior to kickoff. All other tickets will be forfeited.
When ordering tickets for any event, be sure to purchase a ticket for your U-M student. We encourage you to attend events with your U-M student, and everyone attending ticketed events must have a ticket. Please be advised that if your student is performing at an event, you must have a ticket to attend that event and watch your student. Football tickets purchased through the Parents & Family Weekend program are not in the student section. As a result, if your student has student section season football tickets, you will not be seated with them during the football game.
Non-Refundable Registration Fee
There is a $50 non-refundable registration fee for Parents & Family Weekend. Parents & Family Weekend is a self-funded event. The registration fee covers the cost of overhead expenses including publications, postage, registration materials, staff, room and equipment rentals, technology fees, and the non-ticketed events and activities offered during the weekend. Event fees are kept to a minimum and are designed to cover the cost of each event.
Families that purchase two or more ticketed events will receive a Parents & Family Weekend bag at Check-In on Friday, November 2, 2018 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Vandenberg Room, Michigan League, 911 N. University Ave.. This item and any other items purchased through registration are not allowed in the football game, thus they are only eligible for pick-up at Friday check-in. This giveaway does not apply to tickets purchased directly through other organizations and ticket vendors.
Football tickets ordered through the Parents & Family Weekend registration form are a part of the Parents & Family Weekend program. As a result, you will be charged the $50 registration fee when requesting football tickets through the Parents & Family Weekend program.
If you wish to cancel your entire Parents & Family Weekend registration, we must receive written confirmation of all cancellations by Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Those families who cancel before Wednesday, October 10 will receive a refund for tickets purchased through the Parents & Family Weekend online registration form, less the $50 non-refundable registration fee, 2-3 weeks after the request is received. Refunds will not be issued after October 10 for ANY reason. Cancellation requests should be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellation requests cannot be made by phone. Note: Cancellations for tickets purchased directly through ticket vendors or organizations (designated by a yellow ticket icon) and not purchased through the Parents & Family Weekend online registration form cannot be refunded by Student Life. Contact the individual organizations regarding their refund policy.
Once you have submitted your order, we are unable to accommodate changes. Please be sure to carefully read through the “Events” page of the website prior to registering for Parents & Family Weekend, so that you know which events you wish to purchase tickets for. Everyone attending a ticketed event must have a ticket, so be sure to purchase a ticket for your U-M student when you place your online order, if you would like them to join you at a ticketed event.
At Parents & Family Weekend Check-In, there will be a posting board for families wishing to buy or sell tickets. We encourage you to use this posting board if you wish to purchase or sell any of your Parents & Family Weekend event tickets.
In addition, if there are tickets remaining to any events, we will sell them at Parents & Family Weekend Check-In. However, most events typically sell out, so please do not plan on being able to purchase tickets at the last minute.
We strongly encourage you to carefully review the Events page prior to your initial registration. In addition, when ordering your tickets be sure to include your U-M student. We encourage you to attend events with your U-M student, and everyone attending ticketed events must have a ticket.
We recognize the financial commitment required for families to attend Parents & Family Weekend. While there are many no-cost events (beyond the $50 Parents & Family Weekend Registration Fee) throughout the Weekend, there are costs associated with other events and travel, which can be a barrier to attending Parents & Family Weekend for some families.
The Parents & Family Weekend Fee Waiver is a need-based award that provides financial assistance to defray the expense of attending Parents & Family Weekend. The waiver covers the registration fee for Parents & Family Weekend and tickets to the Pre-Game Tailgate. The fee waiver does not pay for football tickets or travel costs.
The Parents & Family Weekend Fee Waiver is designed to provide assistance to the families of those students with financial need as demonstrated by the student’s financial aid award package. Priority consideration will be given to those students receiving a Federal Pell Grant and/or those with an EFC of $0 as determined by Financial Aid. Any parent or guardian of a current, full-time undergraduate student receiving financial aid is eligible to apply for a Parents & Family Weekend Fee Waiver.
Applications are due no later than Friday, October 12, 2018. Families will be notified of decisions via e-mail on a rolling basis. Families receiving a grant will be automatically registered for Parents & Family Weekend.
All application and Parents & Family Weekend Fee Waiver decisions will remain strictly confidential. Recipients will be privately notified and will not be publicly identified.
